The City of Corona Library and Recreation Services Department offers a variety of recreation and social programs for teens and aduts with developmental disabilities.  Programming is designed to engage participants, create a friendly environment, promote mobility and exercise, and encourage play.  Our goal is to provide a fun and inclusive environment for participants, where everyone has a sense of belonging.  Recreation staff will supervise and engage with participants in games, crafts, music, socialization and much more.  All activities are presented at low or no cost to participants.
For additional information on Adaptive programming, please contact Jessica Barlow, Recreation Specialist, at or (951) 817-5849.  If you need to register for programs, contact our Recreation Services office at (951)736-2241.

Adaptive Recreation is gradually expanding through cities and non-profits throughout our area. The City of Corona's Adaptive Recreation program along with the ABC Hopes have generated a special needs business and community advocates meeting in hopes to develop multiple opportunities for day programs and families to become involved in; through businesses or advocates offering activities, classes or programs. This will give you the opportunity to share the programs you offer, to hear what others are doing and to see what new opportunities we can create for the special needs population.
